Phy106 is the course code for the second semester Physics course for first year students in the faculty of basic medical science, Rivers State University.

It consist of three major Parts - Electromagnetism, Waves and Optics.

Electromagnetism studies electrical and magnetic phenomena.

Waves studies different concepts about the movement of particles and how they transfer energy from a point to another.

Optics study Light, it's properties and behaviour as well as the eyes.
